Payments glossary

What is a refund?

A refund returns all or part of a completed payment to the customer's original payment method, initiated by the merchant.

Refunds are processed by the same provider that took the original payment. They can take several business days to reach the customer.

How it works in Allidian

Allidian sends every refund back through the provider that processed the original payment, even if you have since switched providers, and confirms the final status from provider events.

The future of payments is connected.
